I have fairly complete collections of several of these, esp. Anderson, Farmer, McDonald, Niven, Stephenson, and Vinge.

For PalmOS users, HandyShopper is a great tool for keeping track of the your SF collection, so you can buy more effectively at used book stores. I make a separate "database" just for book, with a "store" for each author. Then I load each store up with that author's bibliography. Most major authors have sites that list their biblio, and with a little cleanup you can drop it into a memo, transfer the memo to your Palm, and import it into HandyShopper. Then check off the ones you have.
